Grove Monks Farm was a joint venture between Gleeson and Gallagher Estates, submitting a planning application of up to 400 units and an extension to the Grove CE Primary School.
This site was successfully promoted within 36 months with planning permission granted at appeal for up to 200 new homes.
Through this project, we secured the country’s first Grey Belt decision, at a local level, within seven months of submitting our planning application.
Gleeson Land entered into a Planning Performance Agreement and worked very closely with Basildon Borough Council to develop a well-designed scheme.
Planning approval was secured from Somerset Council for a high-quality scheme of 67 homes in the Western region.
Gleeson Land achieved a planning approval via committee, for up to 140 homes on land adjacent to the built-up area of Templecombe.
